770th anniversary of Battle of Saule

September, 2006. Soccer season closing tournament dedicated to the 770th anniversary of the Saule battle and to commemorate Samogitian prince Vykintas.

The tournament’s winner was "HBH" soccer team headed by Juozas Matulevicius, that won with only one goal more than the ,,Virusas" team from Krentinga having occupied the II place, head Eligijus Puidokas, the third was ,,Englandas" from Klaipeda, head Alius Miravinskas.

Players of all the teams were awarded with special medals and diplomas with Samogitian symbols made to commemorate the 770th anniversary of the Saule battle and Samogitian prince Vykantas.

Later participants of the tournament were offered dishes of Rada's kitchen and different sorts of beer brewed by "Juozo alus" brewery, kvass and jelly "Forest tale", according to Juozas himself, it is a medicine for 99 diseases.
